Easy Glider
by Triple Crown Pet Products

4 Dog Test Group Product Rating:

Company Description:

Triple Crown Pet Products

Triple Crown's Easy Glider is easy to throw straight and level, even if you are inexperienced. The unique design allows for it to glide through the air without taking sharp arcs or turns, as well as land gently, making it easy for your dog to follow and catch. Plus, it is made of highly durable soft foam that will hold up to being in your dog's mouth without cutting or hurting him. It also floats in water for disc catching fun at a lake, beach, or pool.

Overall Reaction to the product from the test group:

Ashby's Comments:

I'm a self proclaimed Kong junkie. The Water Kong has been the only toy that I have chased after since I was born. One day Mom brought home this frisbee and I fell in love with it. It's great play catch in the yard, to jump after in the pool and to just sit and veg with! I can't imagine not having this great toy!

Bailey's Comments:

Ashby can have it, it's too much trouble to chase after things.

Casey's Comments:

It comes in some nice colors, but I really prefer tennis balls.

Duncan's Comments:

Ashby doesn't seem to want to share this toy, so I don't get to play with it much. But when I get my hands on it, I try to tear it up a bit, and I never seem to be able to make a dent in it.

Human Reaction to the product:

Our clan has not been fond of frisbee's over the years. They just don't see the fun in them and if we do leave an occasional one in the back yard, the next day it is toast from the bordom chewers. So, I was very skeptical when I brought this product home.

Much to my suprise our Kong loving dog, Ashby, took right to it and claimed it as his. He just loves this frisbee! Ashby has not ever chased balls or had anything to do with any product other than the Kong until the Easy Glider. Now he bounds across the yard with it in his mouth demanding that you throw it and play with him. Our other 3 kids don't seem to have much of an interest in it, but on the occasion that they do pick it up, it's built to last any chewing that they might inflict on it.

The Easy Glider was created as a training tool and comes with a step by step guide that teaches you all sorts of exercises to get you started. They never intended the disc to be left out for the dogs to freely chew on it, as you see Ashby doing in the picture above, but if it does get left out, it is durable enough to last several bouts of chewing. However, it you are truely using it as part of your training, don't leave it out, make it special.

This product is very durable and long lasting, which is key in buying pet product in our household. It's also imaginative! After you have been playing for awhile and your pup is hot and thirsty, you can actually use the disc as a water bowl too!

Overall, it's a great product for dogs who are driven to chase after objects, it is versatile enough that you can play tug with it or use it as a water bowl!
